The jury, leaded by Vladimir Ashkenazy and composed by Akemi Alink, Fabio Bidini, Christopher Oakden, Roberto Prosseda, Bruno Rigutto and Marco Vincenzi has decreed the winners: the 1st prize “Città di Monza”(15,000 euros) goes to Igor Andreev , pianist Russian class 1988.
The 2nd prize (7,500 euros, offered by “Banco di Desio and Brianza SpA”) goes to Hans H. Suh a South Korean pianist, class 1990. Wins the 3rd prize (5,000 euros) awarded from the Rotary Club Monza, Ye Lin, a Chinese pianist from 1992.
Igor Andreev also receives a € 2,000 scholarship, offered by the “Rina Sala Gallo” Music Association and awarded through the public vote in the hall, while the Bach prize .
The prize in memory of Emma Sirtori Bonetti for the best execution of a composition by Bach, goes to the German Hanssen Knut.
For the mention of the critics to the best performance on stage and attributed by Cesare Fertonani, Enrico Girardi and Luca Ciammarughi, goes to the South Korean pianist Hans H. Suh.
