Before registering, please make sure that:

1) You have carefully read the Competition Rules (→ Rules PDF)

2) Have the receipt of payment of the application fee (non-refundable) of €75. It can be paid via PayPal (e-mail info@concorsosalagallo.it) or via bank transfer (ASSOCIAZIONE MUSICALE RINA SALA GALLO – MONZA Via Frisi 23, 20900 MONZA – CREDIT AGRICOLE IBAN: IT80 C 06230 20404 000015030334 BIC: CRPPIT2PXXX – Reason: First name Surname, Preselection 28 RSG).

3) You have a recent photo available (JPG format, preferably over 2 MB in weight) and a scan (JPG or PDF format) of a valid identity document or passport, showing the date and place of birth and residency.

4) Have a video available with the program required for the Pre-selection (see “Pre-selection program”). The video must be filmed in a single shot, without cuts between the pieces, with a fixed camera that frames the entire figure of the pianist and with his/her hands and face clearly visible. At the beginning of the video, the candidate must introduce him/herself (in English), say something about him/herself and his/her passion for music and verbally confirm that the video is for the Rina Sala Gallo International Piano Competition. The spoken part must last approximately 60 seconds and be placed at the beginning of the video. The video format must preferably be .MOV, H264, Audio AAC 48 kHz, maximum weight 2GB. If traces of editing or manipulation of the video or its audio track are detected, the application will be discarded and the application fee will not be refunded.

The video must be sent via → Wetransfer in the following way:

The notification of successful download sent by Wetransfer is valid as a confirmation of correct sending and receiving of the video.

The video must be performed without an audience and must be filmed no earlier than February 1, 2026.

5) The preselection process WILL NOT be taken into consideration in the event of the following:

a) Missing upload of one or more items.
b) Sending the present form to the indicated E-mail, but without attaching the video link (including First name and Surname and performed Programme),.
c) Sending the video and programme to the indicated E-mail, but without attaching the form below.
d) Sending video, information or attachments to the indicated E-mail that are different from those required.
